Last night was incredible for me,being baptized and having friends and family there supporting me during this step in my life. Wendy my loving wife gave a talk on Baptism and the importance of it, I feel so very blessed to have her in my life and thank God for every day that I have with her and the opportunity to spend the rest of eternity with her.
She did an incredible job and it touched me very deeply, I had a hard time containing my emotion but knew if I did not she would not either so I had to be strong for her.
The Baptism was performed by Phil Graves my new brother in –law, we were both very nervous and spent several minutes practicing before we went out. The water was very warm and very shallow, it took us 3 times to get it correct, had I known on the first try I had to have my entire body submerged at one time it may have been a little easier. By the 3rd time, yes 3rd time we got it right, I am not sure who was relieved more Phil or I. Thank you Phil for being there for me and for doing me the honor of performing the Baptism.
I am excited about moving forward in my life with Wendy and God to guide us and comfort us, and am very happy to be working towards our sealing in the Temple.
Thank you all who joined us on this special occasion; thank you mom for speaking and Johnny for playing so wonderfully I appreciate it so very much.

Last night was a very special night for my family because Michael was baptized into the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. This is the beginning of our journey to being sealed together as a family for time and all eternity, to enter the kingdom of god and to have celestial glory. The spirit was very strong at the service and we are very excited about this step Michael has taken in his life. It was also very touching to have friends and family attend along with all our neighbors and several ward members. We are so grateful for the gospel and feel that the lord has blessed our family. It was also very special to have Phil Baptize Michael – Thank you!!

Congratulations! I am so excited for you both. I wish I would have known, I would have driven down to be there too!
That is soooooo cool...I'm so glad to have been there!! Michael, you are going to learn so much more now and you guys deserve every amount of happiness!!
