This week my honey is on the road again – he will be traveling to Austin Texas, Chicago Illinois, and St. Louis Missouri. He will take 8 flights, travel 5,412 miles, and fly for 15.5 hours – thus making him a road warrior!

Michael’s travel schedule is one of the hardest things we have to live with. It is difficult to have to be apart from each other for a portion of every single month. In addition to traveling back and forth between St. Louis and Salt Lake City to be with the kids, Michael also has to travel for his job in order to provide for his family.
It has been a huge sacrifice for Michael to be away from his children. It is already hard enough not to be a part of their every day lives – they change so much, especially the little ones. We look forward to the time when we will be back in Missouri and can take a more active role in their lives.

I am so grateful for Michael, for the wonderful provider he is, and for being an amazing husband and father. He is truly one of a kind and I thank the lord for bringing him into my life. I am so blessed to have a man that has taken my son in as his own – he has been a fabulous father figure and role model to Aiden.

A friend at work once told me if her husband was 1/10 the man Michael was she would be happy. I know how lucky I am to have him in my life and hope I can live to be worthy of being the wife to such a man.
