We hear allot about how wonderful it is to be a mother,
Children love their mothers, when they are hurt who do they call for, when they are scared whose name rings out, a bad dream …well you get my drift. As a father it seems very difficult to hold a Childs affection, we put their toys together at Christmas and Birthdays, we help them build models, we run with them in the park and we play catch with them and yes we play dolls with them. So many things a father does with his children but many of the rewards are the silent. My father was incredible, strong handed at times but always sincere and with good intentions. He always had our best interest in mind. I have tried to carry what I learned from him into my own parenting and at times I have actually been successful.
When it comes down to it, as a father, I look forward to seeing my children make good choices, being successful, and doing their best every day, and at the end of the day when asked, to hear them say, “I’d like to thank my Mom…..”

I couldn't think of anything inspiring or poetic to write but I saw the pic of Wendy and Aiden and I gotta say that I love Wendy's shoes ;)
