Well spring is officially here and we have officially kicked it off. We started our garden last month in our Laundry room. Michael and I both have green thumbs and just couldn’t wait to get our hands into the earthy soil! We have had great success so far with our Tomatoes, Basil, cilantro and we think that maybe one of our peppers came up… Our Coleus, labella, and alyssum also have done well. Aiden planted pumpkins and watermelons which are doing better than anything else!
Our pussy willow is now in bloom and our tulips and hyacinth are looking very healthy - it appears the hyacinth will bloom any day. We have had a lot of deer hang out in our yard and they took some pretty good chomps out of my tulips, but only the pink ones!
We also planted sweet peas and spinach although we planted them outside – they are both cold hardy. We will see if they will survive all the snow we’ve been getting!
The weather has also been warm enough for a motorcycle ride or two and we’ve also had our sprinklers on a few times. Last weekend it was so warm Aiden was running through the sprinklers having a blast! We’ve all got spring fever and are looking forward to spending time outside this summer!

how cute
your plants are looking very nice!!! :)
The plants are huge! How long ago did you plant those? Mike is going to need to post his salsa recipe this summer, I am growing anaheim chile peppers because he said that he puts them in his salsa. So I will be waiting for that. I can't wait till it is warm and the boys can run through the sprinklers together! :D
