Are getting so big, during my last trip into see the kids, I took Matthew and Danny to the Park. My sister Tricia and her 2 girls (Olivia, and Abby) joined us. The boys had a great time. Surprisingly Matthew loved the tall slides, Danny wanted to join right in, but he needed a little assistance. It was great to see them laughing and playing so much. The 2 of them were hard to keep up with, and they rarely stayed together.
Danny is getting to be a regular toddler; several times he tried to edge in on Matthew. Pushing his way past him, it was hilarious to watch. Danny also broke out in song, when I was singing happy birthday to Matthew. He hasn’t picked up the defiant behavior many toddlers get, but I am sure at some level I will be seeing it more in him than in Matt.
Matt on the other hand is still as shy as ever. He refused to let Grandma or Grandpa give him kisses, and to date has only turned his cheek to me so that I may kiss him, but never has he actually kissed my cheek. He is still as stubborn as ever when it comes to meal time, but overall he does a pretty good job.

On Saturday night Samantha and Dawson joined me at my parent’s house. Dawson does very well with the boys and I think they are really looking up to him. I doubt he realizes the impression he has on them. The boys always ask where Becca, Sam, and Dawson are when they get in the car, and Dawson and the girls always ask where Wendy is.
All in all it was a great trip, one I don’t get to enjoy as often as I would like.

Those kids are so dang adorable! Even though I am not really a genuine Auntie to them, I'd like to think I am :D
